We were really excited when a couple recently approached us to do their wedding flowers and coordination at The Lanzerac Hotel and Spa in Stellenbosch. It was our first time working at this beautiful venue, steeped in history and breathtakingly picturesque. Nestled in the Jonkershoek valley, surrounded by the Helderberg mountains, this Hotel and Spa is situated on a private wine estate with rows of perfectly manicured vines, rolling lawns and award-winning landscaped gardens. The crisp-white Cape Dutch style buildings are monumental in their appearance and speak of the heritage that bestows this 300 year old farm.

Their wine tasting venue offers visitors the opportunity to taste their distinguished wines, complimented by a variety of wine and chocolate pairings, in style and comfort.

It’s newly renovated Cellar Hall is fully equipped with high tech lighting options, retractable curtains, wood-panelled walls and a dance-floor as well as a full service kitchen, bar and outdoor private courtyard.

And for those who prefer a more outdoor experience, their Lady Anne Courtyard, Esquire Bar and Manor Lawns provide the perfect spaces for natural ambience with views of the majestic mountain ranges that abound in the Stellenbosch area with the Manor House providing a dining experience for more intimate wedding celebrations.

There are also special accommodation packages available for wedding guests and for those who decide to have both their wedding ceremony and reception at The Lanzerac, a complimentary menu tasting for the Bridal couple is offered as well as a complimentary day use room for the Bride to get ready in on the day of the wedding and complimentary accommodation for the Bride & Groom for the night of the wedding which includes their delicious breakfast.

We were put in touch with Denise who, from the start, was professional in all aspects her coordination of all the details of this large wedding and our minds, and those of the bride and groom, were put at rest that every last thing would be well taken care. We were not disappointed and absolutely everything was on point as expected, on the day, as well as in the build up to the wedding. We were really impressed with the level of excellence with which every service was carefully carried out.
